Wedding Camera Poems
Documenting your wedding using a professional photographer or photography team can eat up a large portion of your wedding budget. You can save a considerable amount by selecting a basic package from a professional photographer and finding creative ways capture many memorable moments.
Find a photographer that offers a variety of packages, including a basic package that includes the highlights of the ceremony, portraits of the wedding party and family and a few key reception moments.
Find several special guests that would be happy to contribute their services as designated photographers or videographers. When having friends and family contribute in this way, it is beneficial to have more than one recording the event, just in case there is an equipment malfunction, blurry focus, etc.
Many of the special moments at the reception can be preserved by having your guests take photos using disposable wedding cameras. Be sure to include a note or instructions so guests know to take many photos and where to leave the cameras when they are done.
Here are some great poems for disposable wedding cameras:
Here is a camera
Please use it a lot,
To take pictures of
What the photographer will not.
The flash is required
Because it is night.
If you don't use it
Pictures won't come out right.
Hold the front switch
Til the little light flutters.
It's all ready now!
Go ahead, press the shutter.
The perfect distance
Is four to ten feet.
Any nearer or farther
Will make it hard to see.
At the end of the evening
When all is film exposed,
Return to the gift table,
And we'll develop the photos.
*********
The bride and groom have a request
Put on a big smile
And look your best
When you see some fun
Take the hint
You snap the camera
And we'll make the print!
******
Take this camera and have some fun
Get some pictures of everyone!
Maybe you'll see something
We didn't see
That we can keep as a memory!
Thank you for sharing
This special day with us.
******
This camera is for you to use
On this our wedding day
Help us capture memories
Of friends and family at play
Share the camera with our guests
Some candid shots please take.
Then leave the camera when you're done.
So an album we will make.
You've helped to make our special day
Complete with love and laughter.
Thank you all so very much
For the memories you did capture!
*******
Please lend a hand on this special day
To capture our wedding your own unique way
This isn't a very tedious task
Just a few snapshots, that's all we ask
The wonderful smiles, the joyous tears
Pictures to remember throughout the years
It'll be so special to see through your eyes
A simple pose, an elaborate surprise
So we can see pictures and remember when...
And relive this day again and again.
********
I'm your camera - so have some fun,
You'll make this album a special one!
Snap away as best you're able,
Then leave me off at the gift table!

To celebrate this special day,
Pick a camera and really play.
Leave it on the table when you are through,
So we can develop the pictures taken by you.
This is a very special gift
For {insert the wedding couple's names} to see.
The reason it's so special is,
Because it's from you and me.
Take a posed or candid snapshot
And when all the film is through,
Leave the camera by the door
So they'll have these memories of you
